Tradition
Explore yoga beyond physical technique and deepen your relationship with the practices and ideas that give the tradition its wider context.
A four-week immersion in Nepal bringing together traditional yoga, the Chaitanya Vinyasa Method, contemporary movement and advanced teaching development.
Come with the experience you already have. Leave with new knowledge, a wider perspective on practice, and greater confidence in the way you practise and teach.
Your first teacher training gives you a foundation. A 300HR gives you the space to go further.
To deepen your practice, explore new approaches, study philosophy with greater depth, develop your teaching and experience yoga through perspectives you may not have encountered before.
The Chaitanya 300HR brings these areas together in one immersive month of practice, study and teaching in Nepal.
You do not need to have trained with Chaitanya before. You bring the yoga and experience you already have. We begin from there.
Chaitanya Vinyasa is an integrated approach to yoga that brings together areas that are often studied separately.
It is rooted in the depth of traditional yoga, while remaining curious about what contemporary movement science can teach us about the body, practice and learning.
During the 300HR, you will practise the method, understand the principles behind it and explore how they can influence your own practice and teaching.
You do not need previous experience with Chaitanya Vinyasa.
Explore yoga beyond physical technique and deepen your relationship with the practices and ideas that give the tradition its wider context.
Develop a broader understanding of the body and explore contemporary approaches to movement, physical practice and progression.
Bring these perspectives together and explore how to translate them into clear, intelligent and personal teaching.
The intention is not to replace what you already know. It is to expand what you can see, understand and work with.
Nepal is not simply where the training happens. It becomes part of the experience.
Hindu and Buddhist traditions have lived side by side here for centuries. Temples, monasteries, ritual, prayer and contemplative practice remain visible within everyday life.
Nepal is home to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, as well as important sacred sites connected with Shiva and the wider yogic tradition.
This has a particular resonance for Chaitanya. The school is influenced by the Shiva Sutras and the non-dual traditions of Kashmir Shaivism, where Shiva is understood not simply as a deity, but as a symbol of consciousness, awareness and the experience of life itself.
In Himalayan tradition, Shiva is deeply associated with the mountains, meditation, stillness and the life of the yogi.
The month is designed as a progression — not just a collection of classes, lectures and techniques.
You experience the principles first through your own practice. Then you explore the thinking behind them, work with them through movement, philosophy and teaching, and gradually begin integrating what resonates into your own way of practising and teaching.
The aim is not to create teachers who all sound or move the same way.
It is to give you more knowledge, more tools and more confidence to develop the teacher you are becoming.
Experience the work first through your own body, breath and attention.
Encounter new perspectives through movement, philosophy, anatomy and discussion.
Connect what you experience in practice with the principles that sit behind it.
Work with the material through workshops, practice design, observation and teaching exercises.
Practise communicating clearly, guiding others and developing confidence through direct experience.
Decide what is meaningful to you and how you want to carry it into your own practice and teaching.
Asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy and mantra.
Mobility, strength, biomechanics, anatomy and movement exploration.
Sequencing, communication, observation, adaptation and practical teaching.
Space to explore how the training changes the way you practise yourself.
“For the first time I felt I could connect what I was practising with why I was practising it.”

Completing the 300HR marks both the completion of your formal advanced teacher training and a new stage in your journey within the Chaitanya Vinyasa method.
Chaitanya Vinyasa is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 300-hour yoga school. On successful completion of the training, you receive your official 300HR teacher-training certification.
This recognises the completion of this stage of study within the Chaitanya method — a deeper understanding of the practice, its principles and the way they are carried into teaching.
It also opens the door to future Chaitanya trainings and continued development within the school.
Graduating from Chaitanya also means becoming part of an international community of more than 100 Chaitanya teachers.
Teachers who have trained in different countries, at different moments and through different programmes — but who continue sharing a relationship with the school and with one another.
We want the training to be the beginning of continued practice, learning and connection rather than the moment where your relationship with the school ends.
Continue practising together and stay connected with the method, the teachers and the wider community wherever you are.
Stay supported as new experiences, questions and challenges begin appearing through your own teaching.
Meet again through community practice, events, future trainings and gatherings with Chaitanya teachers from around the world.
Keep developing through future trainings, workshops and deeper study within the Chaitanya method.
Connect with other teachers for classes, events, projects and opportunities to create and teach together.
Some Chaitanya graduates have gone on to open their own studios. Others have collaborated with fellow graduates, created events, continued into further study or stayed closely connected to the school as their teaching evolved.
