Become the kind of yoga teacher you would want to learn from.

A 4-month online 200HR teacher training designed to help you develop the practice, knowledge and teaching skills to confidently lead intelligent, progressive yoga classes, not simply earn a certificate.
Next training begins September 27

A 200HR certificate doesn't necessarily mean you'll feel ready to teach.

Many trainings give students a huge amount of information in a short period. They learn anatomy, philosophy, sequencing, cueing, adjustments, etc.

But knowing those things and being able to stand in front of a room and actually teach are different skills.

This is why I built Chaitanya Vinyasa differently.

Learn at your own pace.
Short, focused lessons allow you to actually absorb anatomy, sequencing, philosophy and teaching methodology rather than trying to remember everything from an intensive.

Experience the method in your body.
Practice with me every week so you're not simply learning concepts intellectually.

Apply what you're learning.
Integration sessions and assignments turn information into usable teaching skills.

Teach.
You progressively put the methodology into practice.

Get feedback.
Your final teaching assessment isn't simply pass/fail. You receive individual feedback and have up to three attempts.

By the end of these four months, the goal isn't for you to know more about yoga. It's for you to be able to teach it.

  • Understand why you're sequencing something, not just what posture comes next.
  • Adapt practices for different bodies and levels.
  • Understand mobility, biomechanics and intelligent progression.
  • Teach a complete class without depending on a memorized script.
  • Give useful hands-on adjustments.
  • Integrate philosophy naturally rather than forcing it into a class.
  • Develop your own voice as a teacher.

Where can your training take you?

A teacher training can be the beginning of much more than simply teaching your first class.

From teacher training to studio owner

Kulan - Owner of BAY Yoga, Berkhamsted

Kulan completed his teacher training with me through a hybrid format that combined online learning with in-person training.

Today, he is the founder and owner of BAY Yoga in the UK, a thriving yoga studio and community that has continued to grow (featured at Om Magazine), even going on to host its own yoga festival.

From teacher training to building KOMA Yoga

Madzia - Founder of KOMA Yoga, Warsaw

Madzia also completed her teacher training with me through a combination of online and in-person study.

She went on to create KOMA Yoga in Warsaw, which has grown into a successful studio and community and has since been featured in Vogue Poland.

Their paths are completely their own, but they show what can become possible when your teacher training gives you a strong foundation to build from.

The goal of this training isn't simply to help you earn a certificate. It's to give you the knowledge, practice and teaching skills you can continue building on long after the training ends.

More than learning to teach a sequence

Chaitanya Vinyasa is a progressive approach to yoga that brings together traditional Vinyasa practice with modern principles of mobility, biomechanics and strength.

Rather than simply learning a sequence to repeat, you'll learn to understand why we move the way we do, and how to use that understanding to create practices that are intelligent, adaptable and purposeful.

A methodology designed for progression

Throughout the training, you'll learn how to integrate mobility, strength through range of motion, progressive overload, end-range control and intelligent sequencing into the yoga practice.

The aim isn't to make the practice more complicated. It's to understand how to help yourself and your students progress over time.

Foundation & Awareness series

At the heart of the 200HR training are two Chaitanya Vinyasa sequences, each designed to develop a different aspect of your practice and teaching.

Foundation
Build strength, mobility and control through the fundamental movement patterns of the practice. You'll learn not only the sequence itself, but the reasoning behind it, giving you the tools to understand, adapt and teach it to different bodies and levels.

Awareness
Slow down and develop a deeper relationship with movement, breath and sensation. This sequence brings greater attention to how we move and why, helping you develop the observation and awareness that are essential both as a practitioner and as a teacher.

The goal isn't to give you sequences to memorize.

It's to teach you the principles behind them, so you can begin to teach from understanding rather than repetition.

Ancient philosophy for modern life

The physical methodology is only one part of Chaitanya Vinyasa.

Throughout the training, we'll explore the Shiva Sutras and use their teachings as a framework for self-inquiry, recognizing the patterns, beliefs and conditioning that influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

Because becoming a better yoga teacher isn't only about knowing more poses.

It's about developing a deeper understanding of movement, practice, yourself and the people you are teaching.

What you'll Learn

01 - Chaitanya Vinyasa Method & Practice
Build a strong understanding of the Chaitanya Vinyasa approach through the Foundation and Awareness sequences. Rather than simply memorising choreography, you’ll learn the principles behind the practice and how movement, breath, mobility and strength come together.

02 - Anatomy, Biomechanics & Mobility
Understand the body in a practical way that directly informs how you practise and teach. Explore joint mechanics, active and passive range of motion, end-range control, isometrics, progressive overload and mobility principles, and learn how to apply them to different bodies.

03 - Sequencing & Class Development
Learn how to build intelligent, progressive classes with a clear purpose. Understand how to select and organise movements, prepare the body for more demanding positions and create sequences that feel cohesive rather than like a collection of poses.

04 - Cueing & Teaching Skills
Develop the skills to communicate movement clearly and confidently. Learn directional, anatomical and activation-based cueing, how to manage the pace and energy of a class, and how to teach without relying on a memorised script.

05 - Adjustments & Individualisation
Learn how to observe students, recognise when an adjustment may be useful and offer appropriate verbal, visual and hands-on guidance. Develop the ability to provide variations and adapt your teaching to different bodies, abilities and levels of experience.

06 - Yoga Philosophy & Self-Inquiry
Explore key philosophical foundations of yoga and learn to connect them to contemporary practice, teaching and everyday life, moving philosophy beyond theory and into something you can genuinely embody and communicate.

07 - Pranayama, Meditation & Subtle Practice
Develop your understanding and personal experience of breathwork, meditation and the subtler elements of yoga, while learning how to integrate these practices meaningfully into your own classes.

08 - Teaching Practicum, Feedback & Assessment
Teaching is something you learn by doing. You’ll practise teaching throughout the training, complete assignments and receive feedback on your work before completing your final assessment. You’ll have up to three submission attempts, giving you the opportunity to apply feedback, refine your teaching and demonstrate that you’re ready to lead a class independently.

The goal isn't to finish knowing more information. It's to finish knowing what to do with it, in your own practice and when you're standing in front of a room teaching.

Is this training for you?

This training is for you if you want to teach yoga with confidence, deepen your own practice, or simply understand yoga beyond following a sequence.

You want to become a yoga teacher
You’re looking for more than a certificate. You want the practical skills, understanding and confidence to step into a room and actually teach.

You already teach, but want to feel more confident
You want to refine your sequencing, cueing and understanding of movement so you can teach with greater clarity and purpose.

You want to deepen your own practice
Maybe teaching isn’t your goal, or you’re not sure yet. You want to understand your practice on a much deeper level, explore the principles behind what you’re doing, and build a strong foundation for your continued growth.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You just need the curiosity and commitment to go deeper.

Designed to give you time to actually integrate what you learn

This training wasn't moved online simply for convenience. The four-month format is an intentional part of how you learn.

Instead of trying to absorb 200 hours of information in a few intensive weeks, you'll have time to learn, practice, apply, ask questions and come back with real experience.

You'll move through the material at your own pace, practice with me each week, and come together for live integration sessions where we can explore questions and turn what you've learned into practical teaching skills.

Because becoming a confident teacher takes more than consuming information.

It takes time to practice it, experience it in your own body, teach it, receive feedback and refine it.

And because the training is online, you can do all of this from wherever you are, while continuing to integrate what you learn into your everyday life.

Here's what that looks like week to week:

  • Weekly live practice - every Sunday, 13:00–14:30 London (UK) Time, starting September 27
  • Monthly integration session - Saturdays, 13:00–15:00 London Time, opening each new module (Sept 26, Oct 24, Nov 28, Dec 19)
  • Self-paced material - pre-recorded classes and homework you work through on your own schedule
  • Attendance - you'll need 70% of live sessions to qualify for certification. Can't make it live due to your time zone? You can complete the requirement through recordings and assignments, agreed with us in advance.
  • Certification Day - Saturday, January 16, 2027, with the final month reserved for wrapping up any remaining classes, assignments and video submissions
  • Final assessment - a written test and a recorded final class, with up to three attempts so you can apply feedback and get it right

Meet your teachers

Joa (Lead Trainer)

Joaquin Gomez is the founder of Chaitanya Vinyasa, a structured yoga methodology built around structural integrity, breath governance, and the direct experience of awareness through practice.

He has been teaching internationally for over a decade, workshops, 50HR intensives, and 200HR and 300HR teacher trainings across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. More than 400 practitioners trained across more than twelve countries.

He does not teach yoga as a fitness practice or as a spiritual performance. He teaches it as a structured process of becoming more conscious inside the body, the breath, and the moment. That is what this training is built around.

Oliva

Oliva has a background in Physical Theater with styles such as mime, Lecoq, Growtoski, Buttoh, Clown modalities, and yoga. She holds several trainings in Power Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Hatha Yoga. Oli teaches full-time in Madrid and offers retreats around the world. Her classes are playful and encourage self-exploration in both body and mind.

Yoga Alliance 200HR Certification

Upon successfully completing the training and assessment requirements, you'll receive your 200HR Yoga Teacher Training certification and be eligible to register as an RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance.

But certification is only part of the goal.

This training is designed to help you leave with more than a qualification, with the understanding, practical teaching skills and confidence to actually use what you've learned.

Because becoming certified and feeling ready to teach aren't necessarily the same thing.

The goal is to help you achieve both.
